    I was born on a winter afternoon in Witchita, Kansas. I weighed 6lbs 6oz.

    I spoke my first word, "NO!" Actually I yelled it after my sister tried to take my stuffed rabbit away.

    My first day of preschool, I was so excited, but could not wait to go to the big school like my sister.

    I got to roller skate for the first time, with my family. I tried to immitate my mom, who could even skate backwards.

    I lost my first tooth, finally. My sister told me to leave it under my pillow for the tooth fairy to find.

    I find out my family and I are moving to Michigan. I was so sad to hear I was leaving the only home I had ever known for good.

    I went to my first University of Michigan tailgate and football game as a student. We lost but it was still fun to be with all my friends.

    I graduate with my bachelor degree in biology from the University of Michigan. It took a little extra time, but I graduated with honors.

    I marry my long term boyfriend, Tyler. One of the happiest days of my life

    I realize I am not so young anymore. Signs of aging begin to appear. Also I feel the need to add more vitamins and mineral supplements to my diet to help me feel more youthful and keep me healthy as I continue to age.

    I feel old now and realize my body is not what it used to be, osteoporosis has set in. I have fears of chronic illnesses and visit my doctor more regularly for check ups

    I find more and more of my friends are passing away from old age. However, I keep myself active and make new friends through joining senior classes learning to do the things I did not in my youth.

    I love watching my grandchildren play and seeing my children grown up enjoying their lives. Yet, dementia runs in my family and I realize my memory is not what it used to be, so I start making lists and writing down what I need to do.

    After a very long life of traveling and amazing moments, I have reached my last day. I made it 104 years and as I lay my head down to sleep I do not yet realize I will not wake in the morning. I have passed away in my slumber and am at peace I know my husband will be there to meet me at the gate to heaven.
