The children, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, are sent to play on the beach on one dreary day only to be picked up by Mr. Poe with the bad news that their parents had been killed in a fire at their estate and that the fire destroyed everything they had -
Mr. Poe's House
The children must stay with Mr. Poe until he finds an appropriate guardian for them, his home is quite small and his family is already huge so the Baudelaires must share a room with 3 other children. -
Introduction to Count Olaf
Mr. Poe found a home for the Baudelaire's with a far relative Count Olaf. On arrival to his home they found his home to be a big scary run down mansion and Olaf himself seemed to be an evil man. His cover was that he was a rising actor. -
Theater Crew
The Baudelaire children must complete a very very long list of chores everyday for Count Olaf. These chores consist of the most ridiculous thing. The most notable was when Olaf had the children cook dinner for a whole theater crew by themselves. They where pretty much his slaves for the time being. -
The Fake Fake Wedding
The Baudelaires found out that Count Olaf has a master plan to take their families fortune.Violet would marry Count Olaf in a theatrical performance but all the documents where real and the judge was a real judge. The plan fell through the because of certain laws, Violet had signed the document with her left hand but she was right handed. I am not really sure where that came from but thats how it happened. -
Back to safety
Mr. Poe takes the children back to care for them after finally seeing how awful Count Olaf really was. They will be with Mr. Poe until a better guardian is found for them. This is where the story ends.
