Julie and Robbin kerry are killed

Tom sneaks out to got with Julie and Robin Kerry to see a poem that was written by them on the Chain Of Rocks Bridge. Four men approach them and Julie Robin and Tom are robbed by them.The four men rape Julie and Robin and throw Julie, Robin, and Tom off the bridge into the mississippi river killing Julie and Robin Kerry. Tom waves down a car to call the police for him. He is then taken to the police station.

interrogation

Tom Cummins is interrogated about what happened at the chain of rocks bridge. He takes a polygraph test and fails because he is in a state of shock from seeing his two cousins get raped and murdered.

Tom is arrested

Apr 5, 1991

Since tom failed his polygraph test the police think he killed his cousins and they lock him up in jail for two counts of first degree murder.

Tom is released from jail

Apr 6, 1991

Toms family hires a lawyer and the lawyer gets him out of jail due to lack of evidence.

Richardson (one of the killers) is taken in and questioned

Apr 7, 1991

Police find a lost flashlight at the crime scene that leads them to Richardson. He is then questioned about the murders. He is able to make a story and clear himself and he snitches on two other killers.

Marlin gray and Reginald clemons are arrested

Apr 7, 1991

Richardson snitches on Clemons and grey to cover his story and they are both arrested.

Gray and Clemons snitch on Richardson and the final killer Winfrey

Apr 8, 1991

They are both taken and questioned about the murders. The police get a confession about the rapes from the two but when gray and Clemons find out that Richardson snitched on them they both point a finger at Richardson turning him into a suspect and they also snitched on Daniel Winfrey

Julie Kerry's body is found

Apr 25, 1991

3 weeks later Julie Kerry's body is found near Caruthersville MO. Robins body was never found.

Julie Kerry's Funeral

May 20, 1991

Julies funeral is held at St Jerome Catholic Church.

The four killers are taken to court.

Period: Oct 5, 1992 to Mar 25, 1993

All four killers are taken to court and tried. Marlin Gray got sentenced to death.
Richard Clemons got sentenced to death.
Winfrey got 30 years because he testified against the killers.
Richardson got sentenced to death.
