Russia began building factories in 1863. It now has double the amount it had back then. -
Marx Supporters split.
Russian Marx supporters split into two groups for revolutionary tactics. the new groups are dubbed the Mensheviks and the Bolsheviks. -
Revolts begin
News of Russia loosing reaches the citizens. The citizens begin to revolt. -
Lenin escapes Rssian royalty
In 1905 Lenin escaped the russian royalty. He accomplishes this by waiting in Germany untill he could go back to Russia -
Bloody Sunday
Russia lost the War in the year 1905. 200,000 workers arrived outside the czar’s palace and demanded more personal freedom but were shot at by the guards killing many and thus the day is called Bloody Sunday. -
The Duma is added
Nicholas II gave the people a Duma or parliament. This gave them the tiniest amount of speech in their government. -
WWII
Nicholas dragged Russia in to WWll. This brought the countries to its knees, and Russia being behind the world in military and economy caused it to lose about 4 million men in the struggle -
Nicholas becomes mre active
Nicholas moved his HQ to the front lines to inspire his troops. He was a bad leader and had no experience in was so the troops were worried and depressed. -
Rasputin Emerges
Nicholas had gone to the front lines of WWll to “aid the troops. His wife Czarina Alexandra fell under the influence of a mysterious Siberian named Rasputin. -
Trans Siberian railroad
This railroad was started on 1891. This railroad was quite useful for modernizing Russia -
Rasputin dies
Rasputin was murdered by other political advisers. This was because of his interference in political affairs. -
Russians continue revolting
The russian peasants continue to revolt against the Czar. This shows the weakness of the Czar. -
More riots break out.
1917 riots broke out in petrograd and demanding more food and fuel .at first the police shot the protesters but then eventually sided with them -
Lenin returns
Lenin returns to russia from his exile in Germany. He returned to seize control of russia -
Lenin gains power
Lenin and his Bolsheviks went on a conquest to gain people power and reputation. They completed this quest. -
Nicholas abdicates his throne
Nicholas was forced to abdicate the throne. One year later, he was executed. -
Revolts begin
The peasants are tired of their Czar. The peasants decide to revolt.
