Moros Y Cristianos Celebration
A celebration that started in along time ago celebrating when the Christians beat the Muslims in a long battle. Happens every year from April 22 to April 24. The towns people reennact the battle between the Christians and Muslims. The soldiers wear colorful costumes and march with thieir band before going of the "war." It is celebrated in many coast Spanish cities but the best place to see this festival is in the city of Alcoy. -

Seville April Fair
The Seville Fair started as a livestock fair organized by José María Ybarra and Narciso Bonaplata.It only took a year for the small fair to explode into a palooza.Every morning there is a parade that congradulates Seville's top preformers. After that, there is a bull fight, and then flamenco dancers. It is similar to our state fair because there are booths set up all over the fairgrounds. -

The people who celebrate this are the people that are in the group. They often wear vibrent clothes. They make a strong base then stack upward like a pyramid. Small kids are at the verry top.
