Sold Louisiana territory
Napoleon sold the louisiana territory to the U.S in 1803 for the price of about 3 cents an acre. This later became known as 'The Louisiana Purchase' and nearly doubled the size of the United States. -
Crowned Himself Emperor of France
After an assasination plot against him fails, the French people believe in the creation of a new monarchy -

Britain had convinced Austria and Russia to join a Third Coalition against France in an effort to seize some of their influence in the area. -
Gained middle-eastern allies
After failed attempts of conquring Eygpt, Napoleon made friends with many Arab-Nations to gain support for future wars. -

Napoleon invade Portuagal with the help of Spain, and eventualy invaded Spain. -
Invades Russia
Napoleon sees a window of oppurtunity to invade Russia and expand his empire. However, in fear of losing control in France, he retreated. -
Declared an Outlaw
As the result of a treaty, Napoleon was to be exiled. However, before he could be captured he escaped. -
Exiled to Saint Helena
As he was exiled, his family was also allowed to stay with him until 1818 when they were dismissed under the suspicion that his family members were acting as a voice for him in paris. -
Death of Napoleon
Napoleon Bonaparte died on May 5, 1821 of stomach cancer and was burried in the crypt under the dome at Les Invalides.
