Bonus Army Incident
President Hoover, already being unpoplualr to many Americans at the time, turned down WWI veterans after requesting their bonus earlier. Hoover told the vets to leave but when they decided to stay he sent over 1000 soldiers out to get them too leave. The soldiers gassed over 1000 vets and even and 11- month old baby, who died from the gas.the soldiers also shat and injuried to of the Veterans. This event took a toll on Hoovers reputation -
