    The storming of the Bastille happened July 14, 1789. It was an attach on the Bastille. Revolutionaries wanted Governor de Launay the leader to surrender the Bastille to them. He said no and they broke off into fighting. He had no hope in the situation for it to get better so he ended up surrendering the Bastille. This was important because it was a representation of the monarchy. It was what started the french Revolution and the fall of the monarchy.

A couple days after be got decapitated and driven through the streets of Paris to be shown off. This was important to the french revolution because they killed their king and there was no monarchy anymore because there wasn’t a ruler.

They made terror by being over the top with punishments for enemies during the revolution. There was multiple executions happening in Paris. This was important because it was to protect their country to not let in invaders.
