Ivan the III (Great) rules Russia from 1462-1505. He si the first Czar of Russia. -
Vladimir Ilich Lenin
Lenin was a Russian Revolutinary leader. He was also the creator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Lenin fought to preserve the revolution and Soviet power against foreign and domestic enemies. -
Russian Revolution begins
Alot of fighting started in 1905. Many were killed when orderd by the government to ask for Czars help. this caused more problems witch lead Czar to build a democratically elected parliment witch later collapsed. -
Bolsheviks Seize Power
Under the army of Lenin and Leon Trotsky, the Military Revolutionary Committee took over many places. the military finished the revolution and brought the Bolsheviks to power. -

The USSR was made under a treaty called, Treaty on the creation of the USSR. this was a document that legalized the making of a union of several Soviet republics. -

A man who created the Soviet Union's five year plans. this included giving power to the state. he organized pesants and artists under his own standards. -
Berlin Airlift
The Berlin Airlift bastically bought supplies and goods to those trapped in the city of Berlin, under the control of the Soviet Union. -

sputnik is a Russian satillite, that was the first launched into space. it greatly inflused bother America and Russia. Sputnik was seen to Americans as a symbol of doom and the Soviet supremacy. -

The USSR dissolves.
Eventually, Eastern Eroupe started parting from the Soviet Unions autority. each republic, one after the other, claimed independance from the USSR. -
The Berlin Wall Falls.
The Soviet union ristricts eastern europe from going anywhere. On november 9th, the Berlin wall falls, allowing eastern europe to flee, and this was the fall of communism.
