He wwas a distinguished military strategists and won many batlles for France. He also lost many but disgiused them and hid them from the people. -

Napoleon leaves France and travels all over Europe in an attempt to capture the surrounding territories. He attempted to capture England but failed and did not tell the people of France in order to preserve his persona and image. He did this often, and it wasnt until he was killed that the poeple found out -
Haiti Wind Freedom from France
In 1789 the ideas of the Revolution reached the planters in Saint Domingue and Toussaint L'overture. They demanded that the National Assembly give them the same privileges as the people of France. Enslaved Africans in the colony also demanded their freedom and rights. and due to that civil war broke out. Under the leadership off Toussaint L'Ouverture, the enslaved Africans seized control of the colony. He was later captured and taken to a prison in the alps where he died. -

The lying conqueror was finally defeated and exposed as to what he really was to the people of Europe. This battle is significant because it symbolizes his final defeat,. He was then sent to an island 3000 miles from other land called St. Helena to die.
