Albany Congress meets
The Albany Congress met together so that they could hopefully get the Indians on their side because they know that the French and Indian War was going to happen. -
George Washington assaults Fort Duquesne
George Washington heads to Fort Duquesne and starts fighting there. The French won the initial attack, but knew they could not stand up to the main British force. The French remained there until November 26. -
The French & Indian War concludes
The French and Indian war ends. The war ends because of the valiant efforts of British Major General James Wolfe who captured Quebec ending the war.
