Bob Dylan came on stage using an electric guitar. This was the first time that an electric guitar was used in the festival. Dylan was actually booted off stage for using it. Thsi was said to change folk music. -

100,000 people marched on the pentagon. By the time it was over more than 600 people had been arrested. -
Mai Lai Massacre
A small village named Mai Lai with 700 people living their was massacered by U.S troops. Troops had been ordered to fire at the village. It was actually witnessed that a U.S solider shot and killed two young boys no older than five. -
Riots at the Chicago Democratic Convention
The Chicago Democratic Convetion was a political event. It discussed topics like the Viatnam War Policies. Protester for the anti- Viatnam war broke out into fights with police. -

This was the trial held for the 8 anti war activist who were said to be responsible for the violent break out at the National Democratic Convention. -

Kent State Protest
Massive campus protest broke out when it was announced that 150,000 more soliders will be drafted for the Viatnam War. During the Kent State Protest 28 guardsmen opened fire on the crowd killing 4 students and wounding 9. -
