    The Race Begins
    This first day is a time trial. It is 15 kilometres long and the route is quite strange. the purpose of it is to show who the lead runners of the competition are early on and who the main challengers will be.
  • Monaco to Brignoles

    Monaco to Brignoles
    The second part of the race intails a ride through path that frequently matches up to the seafront. The terrain can be quite difficult to travel on though it is not steep. It is 182km long.
  • Marseille to La Grande-Motte

    Marseille to La Grande-Motte
    This stage will be quite difficult. The salty sea air will become a major contributor in who the lead riders are. More experienced riders will be able to handle the wind better than others. This part goes for 196km
  • Montpellier

    Montpellier
    This paart of the race is a team time trial. The route for this part of the race is very small and only 38km long.
  • Bziers to Montlimar

    Bziers to Montlimar
    This stage is really long compared to recent rides at 230 kilometres. The Stage contains five really hard climbs
  • Andorre-la-Vieille to Saint-Girons

    Andorre-la-Vieille to Saint-Girons
    This part of the race is 176kms long.
  • Narbonne to Nimes

    Narbonne to Nimes
    This stage is a straight road. It crosses between the high mountains of the Pyrenees and the Alps. It continues towards southeastern France. It goes for 182kms.
  • Marseille to Montpelier

    Marseille to Montpelier
    This part of the race was 182kms long.
  • Martigny to Bourg-Saint-Maurice

    Martigny to Bourg-Saint-Maurice
    This part of the race is 160kms long. It also signifies the beginning of the end of the race.This day also happens to be my birthday.
  • The End

    The End
    This part of the race is the final part. The home stretch is always welcoming for the participants because there are many fans cheering them on. The last leg of the race is 160kms long.
