Students set up their timeline for the text and make their first entry. The date on their timeline would correspond to the actual date created. -

Read through the second section of the text. -
Day # 5
Discuss the second section as a class or in small groups. -
Day # 6
Students add the next event to their timeline. -
Day # 7
Continue events 1-3 for each proceeding section of the text. -

Once text has been read (a few weeks to a month later) and the students have completed their timeline they add a timespan.
