The Departure
This is the day I left for my study abroad trip with my mom, aunt, and cousin. We first flew to Paris for a little vacation before they dropped me off in Madrid. -
Officially Moving In
This is the day that I moved into my home in Spain. I had issues with my first apartment, but eventually was able to move into a dorm at the school I was attending. This day I officially moved in, and started making the room my personal home. -
Dad Comes
This day my dad came to visit me! I hadn't seen him in over two months. While he was there, we spent a few days in Madrid, and then visited Italy. That was really cool because that's where his family is from. -
Mom and I Meet
This day my mom and I met for a little vacation in Copenhagen. It was always my mom's dream to go to Denmark, so for her birthday last year we all chipped in for her trip. She doesn't normally like to fly, but she was willing to for this trip. -
Coming Home
After four wonderful months in Madrid, I returned home on Christmas Eve. I was supposed to leave the day before, but due to plane complications and delays, I arrived at 1 pm on Christmas Eve. It was sad to leave but it was also great to be home.
