  • What does your time line tell you about yourself?

My timeline tells me that my life has been shaped by the people (and dogs) in it. My relationship with my mom has harmed my ego, but my friendship with Daisy and my sister helped me develop socially. But, my future timeline tells me that I have a lot of promise for my future and much to look forward to.
  • How different would you be if you could have changed one or two events along your line?

I would be very different if I could change my coming out to my mom, because I would have told my dad instead and would have found acceptance. I would likely still have a relationship with my family, and my personality would be different as well. Most importantly for development, I would have a strong support system.
  • How flexible or fixed does your future seem to be?

My future seems very flexible because I still get to choose my college, future career, and life partner. For me, the dates I selected were rough estimates and not specific needs. I will go to school, graduate, find a job and someone I love, all in time. I have been fortunate enough that there are many doors open to me and I have a lot of control over where my life takes me.
