Battle of Bull Run
The north at first in the battle had the upper hand and won in the morning but later in the afternoon the conferates were renforced and came and pushed the federals back. Stonewall Jackson was present. -
Monitor and the "Merrimac
The monitor fought the Virginia to a draw. These were iron clad ships. -
Battle of Shiloh
In tennesse the battle waged on. The conferates at first were winning pushing back the union but in the night the union got renforcements and the conferates retreated and the union let them go. -
Battle of Vicksburg
The Union wins the Campaign taking control of the Mississippi. -
Antietam
Bloodiest day of the war. The south ends up winning the battles with large causulties on both sides. -

Shot by one of his own men while he slept on his horse. The confederates were not to happy to say the least with the numb soldier who shot him. -
