Samantha gets through high school
I graduated at age 18. Graduating high school was a very big accomplishment for me. I am the only one of the five of us kids to graduate with a diploma and get to walk across the stage. Erikson's stage Industry vs inferiority, I struggled with having negative home environment. I am proud to have overcome poverty and harsh home environment to graduate and get into college. -
Samantha and Jake get married!
On September 26, 2015, at the age of 21, I decided to marry Jake Painter. In Erikson's stage Intamcy vs Isolation, I was nervous that I would either marry Jake and live "happily ever after", or pass the opportunity to marry Jake and be by myself and not have such a supportive loving family now. -
Samantha starts college
When I was 23 years old I decided I wanted to work towards getting my nursing degree. In Erikson's stage Identity vs Role Confusion, the crisis was between doing administrative work and not being able to have a sense of purpose at my job, or doing something I was very scared to do and have never done before. I was lost trying to figure out who I was and what my "purpose in life" was going to be.
