Attitudinal Barriers
How people act and view things vary and with every difference conflicts arise as people can't come to an agreement. A key factor in resolving those is understanding why they may have that view and word things differently so they get the message better (Pg 12). -
Psychological Barriers
In order to effectively communicate and to resolve issues understanding the other person's perspective with their psychological barriers in that they may be stressed and uncomfortable in talking with you. Therefore approaching with caution and insight is helpful (pg 11). -
Systematic Barriers
When communicating in organizations it can be very hard with so many different ways for information to go, the information can easily get lost or misinterpreted quickly. It is important to have a specific path of communication and an understanding of everyone's role (Pg 12). -
Experience
A friend of mine was not good at communicating what she was feeling and what things that were said that were bother her. Leading to other relationships to fall apart as she would express what was wrong. She could of handled things differently to prevent conflict by sharing her view and concerns with certain topics and issues that she had.
