Tennis Court Oath
When Louis XVI called the Estates- Genral, the first and second estates locked the third out of the meeting room. The Third Estate's part of the Estates- Genral met at a tennis court. In the past the votes had been counted by the estate, but since the third estate makes up ninty plus percent of the population, they wanted a head count. -
Storming the Bastille
The Parisians strormed the prison where political prisoners were being held and killed the commander and five guards. This date currently serves as their Independance Day. -

They voted to give up their privledges- manorial dues, exclusive hunting rights, special legal status, and exemtion from taxes.They also issued the Declaration of the Rights of Man. -
Revolutionaries want a Republic/ Threats from abroad
In April the Revolutionaries declared war on Austria, Prussia and Brittian because they threatened to protect the french monarchy with the document "The Declaration of Plinitz". -
