The US thought that Hawaii was becoming more important as a commercial export resource. US didn't want Hawaii to be part of the European Nation's empire. President Mc Kinley signed a bill that annexed Hawaii. US planters overthrew Queen Liliuokalani. -

This bill regualted the regulation of railroads. It was named after the republian William Hepburn. The railroads raised the rates they charged for their services. It regulated rr rates. -
