  • First Airplane Flies (1903)

    Wilbur and Orville Wright made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. The Wright siblings had invented the first successful aircraft. It was the Wrights' vision to see that people would need to fly their machines, that the issues of flight couldn't be unraveled from the ground.
  • World war one breaks out (1914)

    The arrangement of organizations together added to the flare of war as this brought on pressure between the nations and everybody had started to become suspicious of each other.   • Pearl Harbour attacked (1941)

    On the morning of December 7 , the Japanese launched a surprise attack on the U.S. Naval Base at pearl harbour in hawaii. After only two hours of bombarding, more than 2,400 Americans were dead, 21 ships had either sunk or harmed, and more than 188 U.S Aircrafts were destroyed. The attack at Pearl Harbor the U.S. , thereafter they relinquished its policy of isolation and declared war on Japan the next day, bringing the United States into World War II.
  • Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. (1968)

    On April 4th, civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, he was hit by a snipers bullet.Violence and controversy followed. In shock of the assassination of King, numerous people rampaged the streets of US in giant waves of riots. The FBI had investigated the murder although many believed that they were the ones who killed King.
  • United Nations forms, replacing the League of Nations (1945)

    In 1945, representatives of 50 nations met in San Francisco at the United Nations Conference on International Organization to draw up the United Nations Charter. The Charter was signed on 26 June 1945 by the agents of the 50 nations later 51 when Poland joined the agreement. The United Nations authoritatively appeared on 24 October 1945, when the Charter had been confirmed by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and by a majority of different signatories.
  • World war two breaks out (1939)

    The reason for the war was the German aggression, French and British settlement/appeasement. Germany, under Hitler, had been attempting to grow and make what it saw as a Greater Germany that incorporated every single ethnic German. The French and British were leading Hitler on with his idea of development, not taking any actions when they invaded countries.
    Although, England and France chose they could no more withdraw and they went to war when Germany attacked Poland.
  • Berlin Wall collapses( 989)

    On midnight of that day, East Germany's Communist rulers gave authorization for entryways along the Wall to be opened as an aftereffect of days of mass protest. After decades of the partition, East Berliners surged through cheering and yelling and were welcomed by West Berliners on the other side. The ecstatic crowd instantly started to climb on top of the Wall and demolish segments of the solid fort.
  • Nelson Mandela released from prison in South Africa(1990)

    Nelson Mandela, leader of the South African development to end apartheid, was discharged from jail on February eleventh, 1990 - 27 years after he was put in the jail. After walking through the streets, he talked at Cape Town's City Hall to thousands.
  • 1)Hong Kong handover riots (1997)

    At midnight on June 30/July 1, 1997, the crown province of Hong Kong formally returned to Chinese power, finishing 156 years of British rule. After a formal handover function on July 1, the province turned into the Hong Kong special administrative region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China.
