    17th of December is the day of the first successful, powered, piloted aircraft to hit the air. The aircraft called The Flyer was built by 2 brothers named Orville and Wilbur Wright. The aircraft flew for 12 seconds in till it touched down back to earth.

    World War I also known as 'The Great War' started when a Serbian nationalist assassinated the heir to the throne of Austria which sparked a world war, the fight between The Entente Powers and The Central Powers lasted nearly 5 years. 17 million people lost there lives and 20 million people were wounded in the bloody fight.

The great depression, also know as 'The Great Crash' and 'The Stock Market Crash' was the biggest stock market crash in history of the United States. Many people lost jobs, there for no money to buy items, there for more people lost their jobs. This curse lasted for 10 years ending in 1947.

The war lasted nearly 7 years and unbelievably, 60 million people were unfortunately killed in the war, 3% of the population of the world at the time.

    July the 20th 1969 represents Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin the first humans to touch down on the Earths moon. The space aircraft called Apollo 11t took just over 3 days to get to the moon from earth. It marks one of the biggest accomplishments for space discovery.
