Prohibition is when the lucrative illegal business of "bootlegging" came around. In which alcohol (made illegal by the 18th Amendment) was illegally "run" to speakeasies and underground bars. This led to large crime rings being established in many of America's cities. It will also popularize new dances and music throughout the decade. -
Babe Ruth Wins World Series
Babe Ruth and "Murderer's Row" lead the NY Yankees to victory in the 24th World Series. He went onto hit 60 Home runs that season setting a long standing record. The Yankees will sweep the Pittsburgh Pirates and become the measuring stick of greatness used even today's game of baseball. -
Stock Market Crash
Also known as "Black Tuesday" October 29th will mark the beginning of the Great Depression. Many Americans will lose all their money in the stock market which will cause the "Bank Rush" in which most banks will be emptied out along with family savings accounts. -

FDR's New Deal will be the start of different welfare programs aimed at putting Americans back to work and boosting the economy out of the Great Depression. There will be works like The CCC, The WPA and many more from 1933-38. This will help build a lot of infrastructure and national parks all across America.
