Isaac was 36 when he was nearly sacrificed.
Answer: God promised Abraham that He would bless him with a son at his age.God shows that He keeps His promises as Jacob and Esau become the offspring of Isaac and the 12 tribes of Israel come from Abraham. God doesn't allow Abraham to sacrifice Isaac but instead provides a lamb, a parallel imagery to Jesus, instead of us, dying for our sins. -

Passage: Genesis 27 - Jacob puts on goatskins and fur to identify himself as Esau
Jesus: Jesus put on human flesh to identify as a human. He did this to bear our sins and our shame. Like Jacob, He took the consequences of His actions and He died for us on the cross. Jesus became like us, but unlike Jacob, He did this not of selfish desire but out of His heart. -

Answer: Early on in Genesis 12, God promises Abram that He will make his nation great and that he will be famous. Islam and Christianity (two of the biggest religions in the world) have a common belief in Abraham and are blessed, as many people share the same faith. The Arab-Israeli War in 1948 separated the two countries/religions into two places.

Genesis 39:2 - God was with Joseph and he was safe. There were times in Joseph's story where anyone could've taken advantage of him and done horrible things to him. Last year was a time where I wasn't very well. Even though no one was plotting to kill me, there were times where people could've taken advantage of me because my emotional state was unwell. However, God was with me and now that I'm better, I look back and am able to see that God has been here for me all the way, taking care of me.
