Blu-ray was invented by a group of people at the Blu-ray Disc Association. Blu-ray is newer alternative to the DVD. Blu-ray displays higher video quality and has more storage space than a DVD. -
February 4, 2004: Facebook
Mark Zuckerberg invented Facebook in 2004. He designed a website that could act as a social hub for his college, which quickly expanded to be one of the most popular online social media platforms. -
January 9, 2007: iPhone
In 2004, Steve Jobs asked a group of people to design a touchscreen phone. Hardware Engineer Tony Fadell, software engineer Scott Forstall, and design engineer Johnathan Ive led a group of people who invented the iPhone. The phone was portable, could play music, run games, the Internet, make phone calls, text, and was touch screen. -
November 19, 2007: Kindle
In 2007, Gregg Zehr invented the Kindle for Amazon. The device was an innovative e-book reader, which allowed people to read books without need of a light. The Kindle takes up a lot less space than a stack of books do.
