Bluetooth
Bluetooth was originally created in 1999 but made it to the store shelves in 2001. It became widely available it 2001, but became more popular in 2004 because this version was easier to use. -
Blu Ray
The blu ray disk was capable of storing several hours of high-definition video, but ultimately failed because Netflix came out with their streaming services soon after. -
Wii
Nintendo announced the launch plans and prices for the Wii in September 2006. The console was first launched in the United States on November 19, 2006, for $.249.99. It was discontinued in 2017. -
The iphone
The idea of an Apple phone came from Jean-Marie Hullot, a software engineer from NextStep, and later, MacOS.Initially, making an Apple phone was not favored by CEO Steve Jobs, but eventually Hullot was able to convince him. This invention was the first stepping stone for our technology now.
