Known as Bloody Sunday, 200,000 protesters were striking outside the czar's palace. They wanted better working conditions, more freedom, and a group of elected officials. Soilders opened fire on the crowd wounding 1000's and killing 100's. -

200,000 woman textile workers stormed the streets outside the walls of the winter pallace in St. Perersbourg. Troops were origionaly told to stop the women but eventually joined the side of the women. -
