    The Univac was made in 1951, it was very big and clumsy and used about 943 cubic meters of space. Remington Rand sold 46 machines at more than $1 million each. Produced about 1.905 operations per second. Cost about $750 ,000. The UNIVAC was the first commercial computer to attract the public’s attention.
