Both of the organizations started to work together and finally decided to merge together. They worked to secure a ballot for women and secure amendments in many states constitutions. -

A try and a fail
The amendment for equal voting right for women passed through the House of Representatives but got shot down in the U.S. Senate. This enraged women and inspired the final push. -
19th amendment
After years of fighting, the women's right to vote and passed and ratified. This was named the 19th amendment for the United States
