    Jeffery Dahmer is one of the most well known serial killers as well as a cannibal. He was caught in July of 1991, but only after he had committed the rape, murder, and dismemberment of 17 men/boys. He was found to be legally sane at his trial, and was given a verdict of 15 terms of life imprisonment in 1992. He was beaten to death by a fellow inmate.

    This murder took place in Boulder, Colorado. JonBenet was a child beauty star, and she was murdered in her own home at the age of 6. Her murder still remains unsolved, and there are many suspects in the case, including her own family. It is unknown why she was murdered as well.

    This is a complicated case, but it ended up happening because Matthew Shepard went to meet up with two men. Allegedly, Shepard started making sexual advances towards one of the men, and in a rage, the man beat Shepard to near death. 6 days later, Shepard died from severe head injuries.
