The Apple Macintosh was created which dated the first successful home computer. It outranked it's predecessor, the IBM computer, and had over 128 KB of RAM, this is a crazy low number given that most computers now use a minimum of 1 GB just to operate Windows. -

At a tech convention in 1985, the Compact Disk read-only memory was displayed. It marked the first disk that you can store binary memory which was originally just used to save music. It was used to transfer games and other software onto other computers.
