    Intel initially released their first RAM chip in 1969. But then perfected it in 1970 due to the chip's size. 1102 and 1103 were the chips that were being perfected but 1102 never made it to the market. This invention has led to discovery of storage and the large amounts of files we can store in the future.
  • Altair 8800

    Altair 8800
    This was the 2nd personal computer on the market. The Altair 8800 was easy to use by the public. This invention got computers introduced to schools and businesses.
  • BASIC by Bill Gates and Paul Allen

    BASIC by Bill Gates and Paul Allen
    This software was written in a hotel in Albuquerque, NM and was meant to be for the Altair 8800 computer. This invention is important as this is the first work of Mr. Gates' to be shown to the public.
  • Apple I Computer

    This computer was a personal computer that had a Star Trek game installed. This computer also got Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak out of their parent's garage and onto the market.
  • Universal Product Code (UPC)

    Universal Product Code (UPC)
    IBM created the UPC to be able to price and identify pricing in the retail setting. This invention was revolutionary as we are still using the method in stores.
