    Although cell phones did not hit the market and become popular until 80’s, this prototype, invented by Martin Cooper, was a huge step towards the phones that we have today. This cell phone, nicknamed “the brick” due to its size, allowed for people to see that cell phones work and would be a part of the future.

    The first digital camera has come a long way from what we see today. It was large in size and took on average 23 seconds to take a picture. This invention helped to enhance the photography opportunities and gave an example to base newer and better cameras off of.

    Invented by Steve Wozniak, this was the first personal computer to hit the market. It is considered a huge event in history due to it being the first of a long line of personal computers. This invention proved to people that it was possible to have a computer for personal use.

    The invention of a portable music player is one that lead to many other technological advances in the music industry. This invention made by Sony is one that lead to iPods and other personal music devices. Without this invention it would have most likely token longer to get to the point we are today with ways of listening to music.
