Four African-American college students held a sit in to integrate a woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. When they were asked get service the people refused and when they were asked to go they stayed and sat there to challenge racial unfairness. -

He donated the $53,123 of his Nobel prize money to the Movement. His goal was to have nobody judged by their skin color but by their personality. That is a very inportant Goal and a very responsible thing to do too. -

Dr. King is killed by an assassin in Memphis, TN. His final resting place is in Atlanta. He was Assaned at the age of 39. King was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:05pm that evening. James Earl Ray, a Run-Away from the Missouri State Penitentiary. -
