Mainstream Mods and Scooter Boys were influenced by a combination of Italian and French styles. Popular Mod men and womens fashion included; suits with narrow lappels, pointed collar shirts, winkle pickers, drainpipe trousers, wool-cashmere sweaters, mini skirts, false eyelashes, and short, neat, geometric hairstyles.
Hard Mod fashion could be seen as the precursor to modern day skinheads or punks, with tight jeans and work boots or Doc Martins.
