    a campaign against alleged communists in the US government carried out under Senator Joseph McCarthy. Many of those who were accused were blacklisted or lost their jobs. Most of those people were innocent when it came to being communists

    Led by Marin Luther King Jr. The Montgomery Bus Boycott started as a result of Rosa Parks being put in jail for not giving up her seat to a white man. After 81 days they finally got the buses to fully integrate.

    After the Brown V Board of Education case every school had to integrate. One of those schools being Little Rock High School. They were opposed to the decision though. After nine black kids decided to go to the school the governor even tried to stop them. This led to the national guard being ordered by the president to escort the kids to school for a year.
