Palmer Raids
The Department of Justice conducted many raids attempting to arrest many foreign communists, anarchists, and radical leftists in the country. Many of which were deported from the country. Also adding to the political unrest of the time, many bombs were mailed to various political figures in the US, which began to make citizens restless because of fear that a Bolshevik conspiracy was attempting to overthrow the US. -
19th Amendment Ratified
This guarantees all women the right to vote, which they fought for over a long time. -
Sacco & Vanzetti Found Guilty
Nicola Sacco & Bartolomeo Vanzetti were accused and found guilty of a murder they did not commit. They were tried in court, and with sturdy alibis they were still convicted and sentenced to death. -
Senate Begins Investigating Teapot Dome Scandal
Secretary of the Interior Albert Fall sold oil at Teapot Dome, that was reserved for the Navy, to a private oil company named Mammoth Oil. All profits of his sale to them was a personal profit, and the country was outraged. This is yet another reason for the hatred of President Warren Harding. -
Yankee Stadium Opens
Construction spanned from 1922-1923 and costed $2.4 million, the first game was held against the Boston Red Sox. The budget was completely paid by the owner of the Yankees, Jacob Ruppert. -
Calvin Coolidge Elected
Calvin Coolidge was elected in 1924 winning 382 electoral votes, along with the popular vote of 15,723,789. He was a republican and ended up serving a full term. -

In a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Babe Ruth hit his 60th Home Run and he gave the Yankees a 4-2 lead. -

Republican Herbert Hoover won the 36th Election with 444 electoral votes, and the popular vote of 21,427,123.
