    Women gained the right to vote through the 19th Amendment. The Amendment was ratified on August 18th, 1920. The women’s rights movement started in 1848 and led up to 1920, so it took 72 years for women to get what the wanted. They are also continuing to fight for more women’s rights.

    Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were italian immigrants who came to the United States in 1908. They were involved in a murder trial. They put through a trial but it was unfair. They were proven guilty on July 14th 1921 by jury.
