Palmer raids
The Palmer Raids were a series of raids done by the United States Department of Justice to catch and arrest suspected radical leftists, and especially anarchists. Radical leftists are left wing politics and anarchists are people who believe in anarchy. They were usually deported. -
The Steel Strike ends
The Steel Strike started in 1919. It was an attempt by the weakend Amalgamated Association of iron (steel and tin workers) to organize the Untied States steel industry in the beginning of WWl. It was ended in the beginning of 1920. It didn’t even last a year. -
Women’s suffrage
Women were not traeated as fairly as men. They didn’t have the right to vote or really even voice an opinion. On August 18 that all changed for us and it slowly changed from there too. -

Al Capone also known as scar face was one of the biggest gangsters of the 1920’s. He was a mobster, a crime boss, and a business man. He made tons and tons of money throughout his career and wasn’t caught. He was arrested for not paying his taxes though. -

The automobile was booming in the 1920’s. Everyone wanted one and more and more were being made making them more affordable. The model T was probably one of the most popular vehicles during that time. -

Harding was the 29th president of the United States. He was president from 1921-1923, he ended up being the 6th president to die in office. He had an open heart attack. -

Advertisement became very popular. To catch the attention of customers ads and things were put out to grab their attention. They persuaded people they needed that product and more buyers came forward.
