    The next day, The brother of Nicholas called Mikhail, announced that he refuses to accept the throne, and because of this, the provisional government was formed.They never ruled russia, but were set up by members of the Duma, and was led by Alexander Kerensky.

    The first ever international Women's day took place on the 8th of march. Due to this, women were allowed to do a lot of things they weren't previously allowed to do, such as voting. The day was predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations. This was the beginning of the Russian revolution.

    Many students and an immense lot of others joined the activists on the street. These crowds gathered in order to demand exit from WWI and from the Tsars abdication.A lot of revolutionaries got arrested and also shooting broke out between some people.

    On April 16, 1917, Vladimir Lenin, leader of the revolutionary Bolshevik Party, returns to Petrograd after a decade of exile to take the reins of the Russian Revolution, Lenin was drawn to the revolutionary cause after his brother was executed in 1887 for plotting to assassinate Czar Alexander II.
