  • Railroads made a Time zones

    Before the trains people set their clocks to their perspective of the sun. When they made the railroads go across America people had trouble trying to keep up with the time different´s in other areas, so in order to fix the confusion the railroad companies made a standard time zone so others would not get confused. The Gov later adopted this time zone.
  • Final battle at wounded knee

    Feds fought against the Indians who didn´t want to leave their land. The Feds won and pushed the Indians out of wounded knee, south Dakota.
  • Ellis Island opens as a receiving center for immigrants

    Immigrants flocked into the US mainly New York,Chicago, and other big popular areas in the US.
    Native born citizens of the US wanted less immigrants while the big bosses and politicians wanted to try and let them vote in the states.
  • The radio telegraph

    An Italian named Guglielmo Marconi Had sent the first transatlantic radio telegraph. this would become useful in the future of communication.

    The German known as Albert Einstein would talk about his relative theory.

    The first ever model T automobile was made. This soon replaced horses and carriages.
