    A major battle between the 7th Cavalry of the United States Army and the combined forces of the Lakota, Northern Cheynne and Arapaho. The fighting lasted from June 25-26, 1876 and resulted in an overwhelming victory for the Lakota, Northern Cheynne and Arapaho forces.
