  • Bass Player Search Begins

    Bass Player Search Begins
    Travis Wachendorf and Mike Wood place an ad in the New Times Phoenix for a bass player to complete a 'groove-heay' rock band.
  • Bass Player is Found

    Travis receives a call on the New Times ad from Mike Jewell (19) and they set up a meeting at the local Denny's
  • Band is Formed

    The as yet unnamed band is competed and begins writing songs and preparing to book gigs.
  • Unlisted is Born

    After brainstorming through dozens of band names, one is finally agreed upon. Courtesy of Mike Wood, they will now be known as "Unlisted".
  • Recording of first Demo Begins

    With 4 new original songs in the bag, Unlisted decides to record them on Alan Jewell's 1/2" 16 Track machine. Engineered by Mike Jewell. Songs recorded are: Down, Together Undone, Dark December and Daisy.
  • The First Unlisted Show

    The first Unlisted show is performed on a slow Tuesday night at Hollywood Alley in Mesa, AZ.
  • The Demo Tape is Pressed

    The 4-song self-titled demo EP is pressed at Moon Valley Cassette. It is simple. White cover, black printing. 500 are made.
  • Ray Weaver Joins Unlisted

    Unlisted invite their new friend Ray Weaver to join the band. Ray brings a new live energy and attitude to the band.
  • The Nucleus of the Hot Dog

    Unlisted performs a large all ages show with Mr. Pink, Fred Green, Stroke 9 and others at the Hollywood Alley. The idea for the Mr. Pink Hot Dog Emporium is born in the mind of Manny Ruiz of Mr. Pink. The Hot Dog Emporiums will reign at the Hollywood Alley for the summer and fall of 1996. This is also where Dave Wolfmeyer begins introducing the band as the 'Mighty Unlisted'.
  • Mike Wood moves to Maine

    The first Unlisted drummer, Mike Wood moves indefinitely to Portland, ME. Unlisted begins the search for a new drummer
  • Ray Weaver is Removed from Unlisted

    After personal issues and questionable actions, Unlisted decides to cut loose Ray Weaver and begin the search for a new drummer. New ads are placed and the process starts all over.
  • Enter A. Brad Hazelton

    After a long search and many auditions, Unlisted finds a new drummer in the form of Wisconsinite A. Brad Hazelton. Hazelton played previously in bands Renegade and Mas Optica. The band begins writing more new songs and teaching Brad the old ones.
  • Unlisted Records the First Full-Length CD.

    Unlisted holes up in Mind's Eye Digital Studios with Larry Elyea to record their first full-length (9 songs) CD. Over 8 weeks they record mix and master the album. Over the following month, A. Brad creates the artwork for the CD.
  • 'Wide Awake and Screaming' is released locally.

    Unlisted officially releases 'Wide Awake and Screaming' locally and begins selling the disc at shows and in local record stores on consignment. The reviews come in from local mags. Some are good and some are laughable... Track listing is: Water's End, Sentia, Edna, Freshjive, Rose, Jupiter Fell, Boba Fett, Twilight-1a and Speedway Frontier.
  • Mike Jewell Leaves Unlisted

    Mike Jewell leaves Unlisted to pursue other paths and the band is now in the hunt for a new bass player. Ads are placed and the process begins. AGAIN.
  • John Tweedy Joins Unlisted

    After a 6 week search, Unlisted finds a new bass player in the form of John Tweedy. The begin booking shows and writing more material.
  • Unlisted Becomes Mighty Unlisted

    The band plays it's first show under the monker 'Mighty Unlisted'. The crowd goes wild.
  • Mighty Unlisted Records 4-song EP

    The band gets in the studio with Larry Elyea again and records 4 of it's more radio-friendly tunes for press kits and promotion. Songs recorded are: Feeding the Satellites, She's a Mess, Deflowered and Trend.
  • John Tweedy Leaves Mighty Unlisted

    Mighty Unlisted decides to go a different direction and begins a search for ANOTHER new bass player. Adds are placed, and Travis and Brad continue to write and practice over the next 5-6 months.
  • James Lopez Joins Mighty Unlisted

    Mighty Unlisted welcomes new bass player James Lopez. New songs are being written and shows get booked.
  • Mighty Unlisted Records 3-song demo

    Mighty Unlisted returns to Larry Elyea to record a 3-song promotional EP. Songs recorded are: Pink Carnations, Love Can Make You Lame and Nice Guys Finish Last.
  • James Lopez Leaves Mighty Unlisted

    James Lopez leaves Mighty Unlisted to play in the band 'Lust' with friends. MIghty Unlisted begins another bass player search.
  • m5 Joins Mighty Unlisted

    Longtime friend of Travis, m5(Manny Ruiz) joins Mighty Unlisted. The band begins booking shows and continues writing some new music.
  • Mighty Unlisted Takes a Haitus

    Mighty Unlisted plays it's last show in the current incarnation (Travis, Brad, m5) at Ziggy's on Mill in Tempe, AZ. The band is removed from the stage after 4 songs for being too loud. m5 decides to leave the band and Mighty Unlisted goes on haitus, and begins backing up Zoom as 'The Sporty Forties'. Travis and Brad play with Zoom for the next 3 years.
  • Mighty Unlisted Rises From the Dead Once Again

    Mighty Unlisted returns to the stage wirh new bass player Cedric Cummings. Older and wiser?
