The Revolutionary War
The Declaration of Independence was one of the main things that started the Revolutionary War which then happened for 8 years. -
The Air Compressor
The air compressor was invented to help miners that were mining gold and silver. Miners needed the air compressor because it helped miners drill into the side of a mountain to get gold. -
Swivel Chair
The swivel chair was invented to allow extra movement while working instead of having to move awkwardly. The swivel chair had wheels at the bottom of it and the seat was more of a square shape, and there was a backrest that was almost the shape as the part you sit on. This was important because it allowed circulation to flow without getting up. -
The Helicoid is Discovered
The discovery of the helicoid was helpful for finding distances in between two camera lenses and to help film movies. This discovery became a part of movies and cameras. The helicoid is a 3D object that is in the shape of a funnel where it could measure the distances in between many objects. -
James Watt Steam Engine
James Watt improved the way of transportation for many people, and improved the first engine by making a steam engine. The steam engine was helpful for pumping water out of coal mines to make miners' jobs a lot easier. The steam engine looked like a big modern oil driller but with a big wheel to pump the water in order to spray it in the mine. -
The British evacuate Boston
Americans planned to attack the British as most Americans gathered around Boston Massachusetts to strike an attack on the British. The US soldiers then forced the British out of their country and ordered them to never come back. This then started a war because the British king was not happy about this. -
Congress Declares Independence
When Congress declared independence, it started multiple wars and battles and multiple people did not agree with this decision. Multiple loyalist from the US Colonies and from Great Britain were mad about this decision. -
Turtle Submarine
The submarine was built to destroy Howe’s flagship Eagle. The Flagship Eagle needed to be destroyed because it would repair enemy machines that the Americans had already destroyed. The submarine was useful because we could try and destroy the ship while being undercover.
