Jamestown
The first permanent English settlement in America -
First Slaves brought to America
There was a labor shortage in Jamestown, and Dutch traders offered slaves to the colonists. The colonists accepted the offer and paid the Dutch for 20 slaves. -
Mayflower Arrives
The Mayflower arrives at Cape Cod with the pilgrims who established Plymouth Colony. -
First Thanksgiving

King William’s War was between France and England for supremacy in North America.The goal was to control of all the fur trade. It took place in North America and is considered one of the first of the French and Indian War. -

The trials happened in colonial Massachusetts. Over 200 people were accused of practicing witchcraft and around 20 were killed.
