After having to deal with a war on two fronts, Germany was forced to retreat. The Allies came into Germany. The Germans surrendered after Hitler and his wife killed themselves. -
Allies use atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Although Germany had surrendered, the Japanese were still a threat to the Allies. In order to end the war as soon as possible, the Allies used the atom bomb after the Japanese did not surrender.
