The journey will be four days to get to Tanzania. I am very excited for the journey ahead. August 20, There was a very bad thunderstorm last nigh but thankfully the waves werent too high so we will still arrive the same day we planned on. First Port of the Exploration
Today the ship landed in Tanzania, which is in East Africa. It's a very beautiful place. Its a very crowded place. The reason we went here was because we wanted to trade our silk in return for their gold. It was a really easy trade because they loved the silk and thought it was a worth gold.

    Port Huasco

    Port Huasco
We stopped in Huasco today. Its a very beautiful place. We went there to trade some of our Wine for some wood. It wasnt an easy trade because they wanted to give us sugar for our wine. We ended up getting our trade because we told them we had enough sugar and that we ate it everyday and our teeth are rotting out. The then felt bad and gave us some wood for our wine.

    Journal 3

We had to stay a day extra in Huasco because there was a big storm that came throgh and it was not safe to sail through. We are heading to the East Indies, I'm not sure where exactly but I do know that it will take three Months to get there.
October 17th- The first month has benn chaotic because the weather is just terrible. It is very cold and some passengers and crewmembers have died along the way but we keep going untill we get to the East indies.

November 18th- The weather isnt any better but no one had died in the last month. The longer the trips the more I miss my family. I will see families on the ship and it makes me upset because my family isn't there with me. But I made this choice and I'm going to finish it.
December 18- A very smooth month. Still very cold outside but it is December after all. We will be in the East Indies in three weeks now. We had to stop last week for the whole week because of a big storm that came our way.

    Port #3

    Port #3
We landed in the East Indies today. The head captain finally told us what port we are at. We are at Batavia its's not a very busy place. We tried to trade our skins for some armor but they didn't think it was a fair trade. We ended up trading our skins and getting wheat in return. We didn't really need more wheat but it's better than all the sugar we have.

Today we landed in Sevilla. It is a very busy place, beatuiful, but busy. We had another easy trade today. We traded some of our wine and skins for some armor and wine. I'm a little sad that this was our last port but Im glad I will get to see my family in three weeks! I had a great time on the voyage.
