The stamp act was an inforced tax imposed by the British parliament only on the colonist of British America. The act covered many printed materials that the colonies produced. They enforced the stamp act by taxing the colonist for all printing materials. -

The Boston Massacre was a day in March, also called the incident on King Street, where British soldier opened fire on civilians. Killing five and injuring six. British troops have been living in civilian homes to "protect them". But during a stand off they had accidently killed an african american man, Crispus Attucks, sparking the massacre. -

The crisis came to a head on December 16, 1773 when as many as 7,000 agitated locals milled about the wharf where the ships were docked. A mass meeting at the Old South Meeting House that morning resolved that the tea ships should leave the harbor without payment of any duty. A committee was selected to take this message to the Customs House to force release of the ships out of the harbor. -
