Queen Elizabeth allowed Sir Raleigh to send over 100 men to Roanoke Island. They did not have a lot of food. The 100 men killed the Native America's cheif ! They went to their hme town and got some supplies. -

100 men landed on the banks of James River
The water in the James River was not health for the men to drink. The leader of the men was John Smith. They started running out of food and get sick too. Only 60 men lived through the time with no food, water , shelter , and much more. -

After being kicked out of Massachusetts for his belief in the separation of church and state . Roger Williams goes to live with the Narragansett Indians. He forms Providence, which will be the capital Rhode Island. I could not find the month or day but I found the the year. -

Willam Penn is the person that named Pennsylvania. King Charles gave him the land from Southwest NewJersey. Willam Penn's land has a lot of freedom. Some of the freedoms are free trail of jury, freedom from unjust imprisonments, as well as freedom of religion and elections.
